Questions

Straight answers.

Is this a franchise offer?

Not yet. Virtual.Photo is in its pilot stage with its first operators. Franchise fees, royalties, territories and agreements haven't been set, and nothing is offered for sale on this page. Registering interest puts you on the list to hear when that changes.

What does it cost to join as a photographer?

Training and equipment options are being priced now. Contract photographers are paid through the Virtual.Photo master account for the jobs they complete. We'll share the full terms before you commit to anything.

Do I need my own 360° camera?

It helps, but it isn't required to register. We'll recommend approved equipment for the work you want to do, and you'll be able to buy it or lease it.

Who owns the photos?

Each job's agreement sets out copyright, the customer's licence to use the images, and when photos can appear in a portfolio. Venue and people releases come first.

Are you part of Google?

No. Virtual.Photo is independent. We publish to Google Maps and Street View using Google's public tools, and Google decides whether images are accepted.

Why does this page look the same on every site?

It's one page shared across every Virtual.Photo site, so the offer is the same wherever you find us.
